Regular oil changes are an essential food
for the healthy life of your vehicle.

Changing your oil on a regular basis reduces friction and wear and tear, provides lubrication, enhances performance, and aids in cooling engine components. New oil not only helps to flush away debris such as carbon buildup, but also reduces noise and shock caused by moving engine parts. By contrast, not changing your oil can cause a host of problems in your vehicle, because old oil becomes thick and dirty, cannot flow freely, and will eventually run out, causing the engine to seize up and never work again.

Typically, engine oil should be changed every 3,000-8,000 miles, depending on the age of your vehicle. Newer cars require less frequent oil changes. Vehicle manufacturers also set recommendations for their makes and models in terms of frequency and oil type, so be sure to check your owner's manual.
